Pumpkin Carving Contest!

Get creative this Fall with Franklin County 4-H Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Deadline to enter is October 24, 2025, at 5 p.m.

Categories include (category descriptions explained on
registration page):

  • Carving (no template)
  • Decoration only (no template)
  • Carving and story/poem (no template)

The contest is open to youths ages 5-18 (as of Jan. 1). Participants will create their pumpkin project at home using their own pumpkin and supplies. To participate, youth will complete a Google form registration and upload up to 3 pictures of their pumpkin. All entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on October 24. Pumpkins will be judged and winners will be announced on October 30.

How to participate:

  • Each participant will create their pumpkin project at home using their own pumpkin & supplies
  • To participate, youth will have to complete a Google form registration and upload up to 3 pictures of their pumpkin.
  • All entries must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on October 24, 2025.
  • Pumpkins will be judged. Winners will be announced on October 30, 2025.
  • Prizes to 1st-3rd place winners. Cloverbuds will receive a small goodie bag.

(age as of January 1)

    • Cloverbud (5-7 years old)
    • 8-10 years old
    • 11-13 years old
    • 14-18 years old

Submissions due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 24th.
