Collapse ▲Meredith Potter had the privilege to attend the National 4-H Conference in Washington, DC through a NC 4-H teen program called AIRE (Application, Interview, Resume, Essay).While in DC she got to meet with the Senate Committee of Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. She and other NC 4-H’ers were able to discuss how important rural agricultural and youth development is in our country. She was able to tour the Nation’s Capital and The House of Representatives. Meredith was grateful for the opportunity to see many of our nation’s monuments and learn more about historical people who helped to make our nation great.
