ARE YOU STILL LOOKING FOR MOTIVATION? WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU DON'T NEED MOTIVATION TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS?


Are you still looking for motivation? Guess what, most of us are! We don't always wake up motivated. There is a common misconception that we need to be motivated to reach our goals. Oftentimes, I'll hear people say they are "looking for  motivation." What happens if you never find it? Do you just give up on your goals?  (note to self: DO NOT QUIT)

The thing is, many times we hold onto this "lack of motivation" as a crutch to never accomplish our goals (I also encourage you to make sure your goals are realistic).


It becomes our excuse over and over, and before we know it a year has gone by and we have still not done anything about it. I am here to tell you to get out of that head space! Don't let lack of motivation be your excuse. DON'T LOSE FOCUS


Think of your bigger why, and let that be your focus. This should be deeper than the scale or what you see in the mirror. For example:

  • "I want to be able to keep up with my children/grandchildren"
  • "My mobility as I age is important to me"
  • "I want to sleep better at night"

ACTION ≥ MOTIVATION

Sure you'll still have off days with no movement (and that's ok! this is called recovery and it's important too) but don't let that hold you back from getting started.


Here's your PSA to crush your goals, even when you don't feel like it! You don't need motivation.. you just need to DO IT!
