NC Cooperative Extension offers Safe Plates for Food Managers for all those who work in the foodservice industry. The course helps food establishments meet the North Carolina requirement of having at least one supervisor certified as a food protection manager, per the FDA Food Code 2017.

N.C. Cooperative Extension of Franklin County will be hosting a Safe Plates for Food Managers Training Program March 2, 3, & 4, 2020. This class will prepare participants for the food safety certification exam on the 4th. Participants will get two days ( March 2 & 3) of instruction and then sit for the Food Safety Certification Exam on Wednesday, March 4th. The registration fee is $125.00 and covers materials for course and exam fee. The deadline to register is Fevruary 24th.
