A Small Farms Interest Meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Franklin County Cooperative Extension, in Louisburg.

At the event we will address needs, questions, comments, and concerns of small and limited resource farmers in Franklin County, and serve to inform them about organizations in the community that have programs that can benefit them, such as NC Cooperative Extension, Soil and Water Conservation Service, USDA Farm Service Agency, AgCarolina Farm Credit, and Franklin County Forest Service.

The meeting will function as a needs assessment program for small and limited resource farmers in Franklin County, and be used to set the trajectory for future programing.

The Franklin County Cooperative Extension office is located at 103 S. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC. If you are interested in attending please pre-register by calling the office at 919-496-3344 or by emailing William Landis, wllandis@ncsu.edu
