Food Safety Training for Poultry Mobile Processing

Franklin County Cooperative Extension, in collaboration with Clemson University Cooperative Extension will conduct a Food Safety Training for Poultry Mobile Processing on Thursday, December 7, 2017.

Training details and topics to be covered by instructor, Dr. Doug Smith of Clemson University are: pre-slaughter handling, slaughter, processing, chilling, cut-up and deboning, packaging and labeling, and current NC regulations. NCDA&CS Meat and Poultry Inspection Department will be represented.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., program time is 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Registration fee of $40 payable day of program.
